  1. i have just discovered this place in a link from another blog i enjoy. it is a lovely spot to visit & i shall look forward to returning often…well-done! p.s.: not that it matters especially, but i am third-generation swedish-american (‘finlander’ mostly, but götaland before that, i think) which makes it all the more enjoyable to visit here… mvh, christopher.

    • Hi Christopher and welcome to my blog!
I´m glad You like my blog and You´re always welcome 🙂
So Your ancestors came from southern Sweden and Finlad did belong to Sweden for almost six hundred years 🙂

      Have a great day now!

  2. I stumbled across your blog site one evening and just think your photos are fantastic, I keep coming back to see what you have added. I am waiting to see how things will go with your new girl Nova. Wishing you the best with her.

    • Hi Marty and welcome to my blog!
      Thank You 🙂
I´ve made wednesdays blog free days, otherwise I usually post every day here.

Little Nova will move here tomorrow afternoon so I´m pretty sure that´s what my post will be about tomorrow 🙂

      Have a great day now!

  3. I have been reading your blog for about a month now, but I don’t think I’ve ever posted anything. (I got the link from October Farm blog) Anyhow, I love it, and your photography is outstanding. You are SO lucky to live in such a wonderful place. My posts would be boring, i.e., “wow”, “beautiful”, “I love it”…..so just know I am now ‘following’ you, and I check in every day, and really enjoy your blog.

    • Hi autumnrose and welcome to my blog 🙂

I’m glad You like what I do and show 🙂 I think most of the ones coming here has come via Octoberfarm 🙂 🙂
You are always welcome back with a comment if You would like to 🙂

      Have a great day!

  4. I don’t live in the country, but grew up there. Thanks for writing and sharing your beautiful world,
it so inspiring to see all you do with your little cottage and land. It helps me appreciate and see
the beauty in the little ‘farm’ I’m making for myself in town!

    • Hi Deanna!
It is the opposite with me, I grew up in a big city 🙂 But as You say, one can make a small farm even in the big city it just takes a little bit of imagination 🙂

      Have a great day!

  5. Hi just popped over from October Farm..another one yes..your blog is amazing..the photos are truly gorgeous..we live in a town but on the outskirts..we are creating our own farm here..and just taking a step back to just enjoy the beauty around us…will keep popping back to look at the photos..truly breathtaking..

    • Hi Sara and welcome to my blog 🙂
Yes a lot of those reading here comes via Octoberfarm 🙂 It is fun to look at the statistics from where most people comes and Octoberfarm is in a big lead 🙂

To move here from the city was the best thing I’ve ever done 🙂 Far away from everything and cheap 🙂

Have a great day and welcome back 🙂

  6. I just came across your blog. Love the photos. Here on the shores of Lake MIchigan the lake is bigger, but the sense of calm that this water and that near you offers is so much the same. Nice to visit you today. I too post lots of photos of the gardens here often with the lake in the background. It really is the “life” of this area. Will be following you. Jack

    • Hi Jack and welcome to my blog 🙂

Yes Lake Michigan is slightly bigger 🙂 🙂 🙂 I think it would cover much of southern Sweden to be honest 🙂 But there’s something with lakes and oceans that does give a calming feeling. I grew up by the ocean anbd that’s the only thing I miss since I moved here.

I’ll come over to visit You later today.

Have a great day and welcome back 🙂

  7. This is an amazing place … and they say ‘Disney land’ is a happy place. I’ll take yours any day. It is a piece of Heaven. The photos are so restful and the puppies could not be happier … just look at their grins. I will continue to follow too and thanks so much for sharing this enchanting place, Barb

    • Hi Barbara and welcome to my blog 🙂

But it sure would be fun to visit Disney land one time 🙂 🙂 🙂
I do love living here and it’s the best decision I’ve ever taken moving here from the big city 🙂

Have a great day and welcome back 🙂
