I almost forgot!

I did promise to show You where the deer is in that photo ๐Ÿ™‚

Even when Iยดve drawn a black circle around the deer itยดs hard to find ๐Ÿ™‚

I draw a red circle this time because even if this part of the photo is much bigger the deer is still rather hard to see ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day now!

  1. Wow! I could NOT see anything in that first photo! LOL!
Thanks for the second one. It’s amazing how the deer was blended in perfectly.

    • Hi Terria!
It was almost impossible for me to see it too and I knew it was there ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Iยดm feeling much better now, but I do get tired very fast yet. On Monday Iยดll be back to normal when Iยดm working again ๐Ÿ™‚

      Have a great day now!
      Christer.

  2. Thanks for the “I Spy” lesson! (“I Spy” books are famously popular here in the States. Many children like to take the book theme and turn it into a fun game. It’s played like this…”I spy, with my little eye, something…fill in the blank.” This is lots of fun in restaurants, parks, shopping centers, etc. Mary and Ben are quite fond of this game, although they typically want to play it in the car…on the highway…where there are only so many things besides cornfields, trees, and grass that are green!) ๐Ÿ™‚

Wishing you a warm and toasty day.

I’m so jealous of all of your snow pictures. To date in Kansas City…2.5 inches of snow and that’s over 2 different snowfalls. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Nothing worse than cold weather and NO snow!

    Blessings,
    Val

    • Hi Valerie!
I know about those “I spy” books ๐Ÿ™‚ They are mentioned a lot in american films and Tv-shows ๐Ÿ™‚

I think we are as far away from warm and toasty as we can be up here ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ But it is nice and cosy in my cottage ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually prefer cold and now snow for many reasons, one is that most ticks dies then. Now itยดs still warm enough for them in the ground to survive till next summer under all that snow we have now. And I really donยดt like snow ๐Ÿ™‚

      Have a great day now!
      Christer.

  3. Yep…even enlarging the first photo I couldn’t see the deer…but when you did it…it was so plain. Looks like it was watching you carefully. How COLD it must be back in there with all that ice and snow around them. Where can they even find shelter?
I’ve heard digging a hole in the snow (something like the eskimo’s lived in) and it can get warm. Not….so sure I believe that..but.. ๐Ÿ™‚
More rain here and our roof leaks. The roofers did not even return our calls so they must be really busy.
I can hear a drip, drip, drip in the ceiling over the family room. NOT good!

The NEW YEAR is just around the corner! Any plans for celebration?
We will stay home and stay safe I think and hope our families do the same!
    Take care!
    Mona

    • It is really hard to find it ๐Ÿ™‚
They just find a place on the ground, perhaps beneath the big branches of a spruce and stay there. Or they just lay down on the ground behind a bush to get some shelter. But it is not the cold weather that is their problem, it is the deep snow. Now they canยดt reach the food and if we donยดt help them with food they would starve to death quickly!

To bad about Your roof! I do hope they will come to You soon!

I never celebrate New Year so Iยดll be at home as usual.

      Have a great day now!
      Christer.

  4. I forgot to tell you. My card STILL has not arrived. If it isn’t here today…I am tempted to call out forces…not sure WHAT forces..but I want MY Christmas card!
I will keep you posted. I don’t think it even took the book that long to get to Sweden did it? Well..maybe. I have a short memory! ๐Ÿ™‚ (No..I didn’t get my card and forget! ) :):)

    • Itยดs really annoying since I sent those cards so early. But I know one reached its destination a day ago so Your might come before New Year with a bit of luck!
The book came within two weeks ๐Ÿ™‚ But I guess it is all huge blizzards that has hit Europe these last weeks that has delayed the cards so much. Lots of airports has been closed for days at a time.
Lets hold our thumbs and cross our fingers that it will arrive soon!
      Take care!
      Christer.

  5. How far away were you? At least, I was in the vicinity but missed the dear deer, completely! My old eyes just couldn’t do it. Mother Nature takes care of her own, eh? Enjoy your tea and cozy cottage… get rested for work, next year! Come visit when you can…

    • Hi Sharlene!
I think I was around 50 yards away from that deer. But I had adjusted the camera to take a wide angle so it looks so far away ๐Ÿ™‚ But to be honest, even if I knew where the deer was I could hardly see it in that photo ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

      Have a great day now!
      Christer.

  6. Hi Christer!
I never saw the deer ๐Ÿ™‚
I even thought you are playing with us and the deer is covered in snow ๐Ÿ™‚
I do not quite understand … Do you not celebrate the new year? Or not it is customary to celebrate the New Year in your country?
I am always annoyed with these celebrations. They are always very noisy.
Here in front of the house will have a big fireworks display.
Jung is terrified by a fever! And I hate the noise although I feel pretty lights.
And I hate to see Jung suffering.
    kisses for all

    • Hi Didi!
๐Ÿ™‚ That deer is hard to find ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Itยดs only I that doesnยดt celebrate New Year. I have never been able to see the fun in it.
I learned last year that fireworks are forbidden where there are lots of farms and this is farm country ๐Ÿ™‚ But my dogs doesnยดt care at all about fireworks, they couldnยดt care less to be honest ๐Ÿ™‚

      Have a great day now!
      Christer.
