Dandruff is falling from the sky.

I’m sitting here in my kitchen shivering close to the stove and has done so a bigger part of the day, that is when I wasn’t boiling :-) Yes my friends I’ve gotten another cold, perhaps the influenza. I knew I couldn’t keep away from it for any longer period of time since 100 000 people had it last month. I most likely gave this to my friends yesterday as well, well they can’t say I’m not generous :-) :-) :-)

This was the last I saw of the sun today.

My dogs are bored with me now, here I am at home all day and we’re not taking any long walks at all. Just to the mailbox and back more or less. But there wouldn’t have been any longer walks anyway today, we’re back to having winter again even if it is only for one day. The snow is falling and the temperature is around 0C (32F), but already tomorrow warm winds will arrive and the sun will shine once again.

Nothing much on tv today so if I won’t take a nap I’ll most probably watch a dvd instead. Today I feel like watching something made by Pedro Almodovar, his films are never boring :-)

The snow started to fall but was impossible to get in a photo. But it shows rather nice on Orvar's back :-)

This is how it looks now at 4:25 pm.

Have a great day!

  1. Hi Christer,
Sorry you are feeling badly. I’m a bit under the weather myself these past few days. Probably a version of the same thing you have. At least the sun has been shining here so I could sit out on the glassed-in porch and get some heat into my bones. Rocky hates when I do that because I sit in his favorite chair. Too bad. He has it all the rest of the time. :-)
Hope you feel better soon. Being home sick is boring.

    • Hi Caryn!
I’m sort of getting used to it now :-) :-) :-) But to be honest, I would have been surprised if I hadn’t catch this because it goes around at both my workplaces.

I’m hoping to be able to sit on the kitchen stairs tomorrow with a cup of tea, it will be really warm for the season.
This will most probably do its best to stay for a while :-) :-)

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

      Christer.

  4. Oh, Christer, so sorry you are sick again!! What a bummer! Sending you speedy recovery wishes! And by the way: “dandruff falling from the sky”, hardly a lovely poetic image, lol!

    • Hi Robin!
I’m getting used to this now :-) I don’t know how many times I’ve gotten a cold this last year.

Well I don’t think there is anything lovely poetic with snow so it fits rather good :-) :-) :-)

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

    • Hi Z&M!
I was prepared for it, even my neighbor next door has it now.
I do manage walking to the mailbox but that’s it :-) :-) :-)

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

    • Hi JoJo!
Well it is better to get it now than in the middle of summer :-) But I was prepared for it to hit me, everyone have it now, even my next door neighbor.

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

  5. haha..orvar looks like he has dandruff! it was 60 degrees here and sunny…ugh! sorry you are sick again. hope you feel better soon christer! joyce

    • Hi Joyce!
      Huge dandruff flakes :-) :-) :-)

We won’t reach 60 but we’re going to be close later this week :-)

I would have been surprised if I didn’t get this since it seem evereyone has it now :-) :-)

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

  6. It was spitting little icy rain pellets yesterday for a very short while and then the wind started to blow.
We got 50 miles an hour winds after that.
And today it’s rather nice, 40 degrees maybe?
anyway…I’ve been feeling crappy myself lately. I thought it might just be because I’m getting old and fat.
But then I read that “statins” which I am taking, can cause muscle ache and muscle fatigue. AND Dementia!
I’ve decided to stop eating junk and see if I can lower my cholesterol with diet.
    and walking.
maybe YOU need to eat healthier sandwiches? :D
    LOL! – Cindi

    • Hi Cindi!
Pills do have some nasty side effects to be honest. Just stay away from fried food, especially deep fried. Rice is good they say and naturally vegetables. But much of the cholesterol problems can be inherited, I can eat any junk and still have very good cholesterol levels. The rest of my family have it just the opposite way.

‘ll just have to remember not to eat those sandwiches :-) :-) :-)

      Have a great day!
      Christer.
